I work at a small Veterinary clinic outside of winston salem NC. I'm a vet assistant. Me and one of the doctors were in one exam room with a patient, and talking to a customer, and all of a sudden, the room shook and vibrated, and we thought we were hearing things at first. The doctor stepped out of the room to see if someone fell or dog rammed the door or something, but none of the other co workers felt the shake at all, it was just confined in that one exam room. The weather was kind of cloudy, so maybe thunder shook it, but could it have been a light rumble? Maybe just that one part of the building is sensitive. But I remember last Summer or so, an earth quake shook all over the state and in Virginia up to Pennsylvania. This shaking that we felt happened a brief second. I haven't seen anything in the news or posts on facebook of people feeling anything.

This is not weather related but according to the USGS, there hasn't been any there. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/m…

This is not weather related! And no, there weren't any aftershocks or earthquakes there. But if you want 11,400+ aftershocks and a big earthuake a year, move over to Christchurch!
