There have been about 50 Qs about snow this last week. Nobody can know for sure so stop asking.
Chances are we won’t get snow in December though as its too mild.
And why is it so great anyway. I’m sick of everyone saying its fun. It is if you are a stupid kid who thinks its great to skive school, but for us who have to work its hell. I get snowed in, can’t leave my house, the roads are dangerous and the trains stop running. This causes lots of stress.
If all you kids want snow so much move to Alaska

I think we can blame the popular image of a snowy Christmas. I once read that, in reality, you can count the number of times during the last century that London was covered with snow on Christmas eve, on the fingers of one hand.
As a daily answerer to the questions on the Weather section of Yahoo!Answers, I have also noticed the large number of questions about snow coming to UK. I have tried to answer some of them with explanation of the British Islands' climate and the likelihood that it won't happen this December. But there is no need to be rude. Yahoo!Answers is much used by young people who don't know much better. I am a 63 years old grand-father and I like to answer question from young people, just like I love to talk to my grand-children. They are our hopes for the future and are entitled to ask as many questions as they want, even if some may sound silly.
Please, assist me in answering questions from young people and keep them away from the doomsday prophets and conspiracy theorists. The media is already full of bad news. We must stay positive.
