an answer would be nice but a rough sketch of much clearer circuit diagram would be appreciated.Thanks.My attempt: The 2 ohm resistor is trivial to figure out, its in series with the complicated stuff. The 6 ohm resistor is in parallel with the 12 and 4 ohm resistors which are in parallel with each other.http://yahoo.......

what is the total resistance from point a to b. an answer would be nice but a rough sketch of much clearer circuit diagram would be appreciated.

Thanks.

R612= (6*12)/(6+12)= 4Ω
R6124= (4+4)/2= 2Ω
R10= 0Ω ( From being shorted on line 0 Ω )
R261243= 2+2+0+3= 7[Ω] ( total )
