(b) What is the frequency of this photon?(c) What is the energy of this photon?(b) f = speed/wavelength.Since we are dealing with photons, the speed is the speed of light =>f = 3x10^8 / 6.3x10^-7 = 4.......
Hey guys, can you please help me with this problem? I've been working on it for hours and I cant figure it out :( I only got the answer to the first one correct.

The following questions deal with the nature of light and color. (Enter your answers using scientific notation.)

(a) A photon has a wavelength of 630. nanometers (nm). What is the length in meters?
6.3 x 10^-7 m

(b) What is the frequency of this photon?

______ s−1

(c) What is the energy of this photon?

______ J

Answer(a) is CORRECT
(b) f = speed/wavelength. Since we are dealing with photons, the speed is the speed of light =>
f = 3x10^8 / 6.3x10^-7 = 4.8x10^14 Hz
(c) E = hf (h is the Planck's constant)
