F=(2009 + 566.44) N = 2575.44 N
A=we'll consider the base are of the lager piston(the one attached with the chair) = 3.14 * 0.05 ^ 2= 0.00785 m^2
P=2575.44/0.00785 = 328081.52 Pa = 328082pa(approx) = 328082/1000 MPa =328 MPa (approx)
now the doc will have to exert a certain magnitude of force such that the pressure created by this force(on the doctor's piston say P1) should be equal to the pressure created on the piston beneath the chair say P2)
so P1= P2=328082 Pa ( calculated earlier )
P1 = Force (which the doc applies) / area (the area of the piston on the doc's side)=328082
therefore F = 328082 * area of doc's piston(say Ad)
Ad = 3.14 * 0.02^2 = 0.001256 m^2
now F doc = 328082 * 0.001256 = 412 newton .....
i may have gotten wrong with the calculation but the method is correctaaaah...
thank u Pascal....u made our lives soo much easy.... ;) :))
hope this helped :))
