Could a black hole exist from things other than mass

However it would still be a black hole because light itself would be drawn in, but not space-time. Essentially creating a black hole that things like humans could travel into, but be unable to exit because they have no energy to.All theoretical of course........
As an example, a typical black hole is created from super dense mass or material ( I may not have worded that correctly, but I assume if you answer this question, you know what I'm talking about). In this black hole, light cannot exit, just like everything else, even though radiation can, because light travels one something called "space-time" so while it is energy and should be able to exit a black hole it is affected blah-blah-blah.

My question is, could a black hole exist if created from energy instead of mass, even though the energy has no mass?

Here's my reasoning: A black hole created from mass affects mass-related things. Should a black hole created from energy not act the same way, but not affect things made of mass? However it would still be a black hole because light itself would be drawn in, but not space-time. Essentially creating a black hole that things like humans could travel into, but be unable to exit because they have no energy to.

All theoretical of course...

P.S. oldprof, if you see this, I'd like you answer, your last answer to my question was extremely helpful.

Thank you everyone.

Ah. According to the general theory of relativity mass, energy, and stress can curve space and slow time. And there you are, energy and stress. Given sufficient levels of either, space can be curved to the extreme so that light is trapped when it falls inside the potential energy well that curved space forms. And, as you know, when light gets trapped, that's a black hole.

That energy should be a source of the extreme curved space and slowed time should not be a surprise. From e = mc^2 we know mass and energy are equivalent...not the same, they are not, but equivalent. In fact, the expectation is that mini black holes will be created by the large hadron collider at CERN. And these little guys will not be formed around anything massive; they will be formed around an enormous amount of energy (from the colliding hadrons) over a small volume of space.
