Sure, the 6 million Dollar Man, an old TV series, had a half human, half machine cybernetic hero. Today, much of the prostheses used to replace arms and legs are resembling the artificial arm and leg of the 6 Million Dollar Man. Some forms of artificial leg are getting so good that their bearers are being banned from competitive races because they give the runner an unfair advantage over runners with only natural legs.

In Starship Troopers, a movie of a couple decades ago, the badly damaged hero was knitted back together, cell by cell. Nowadays, stem cell therapies do similar things when the cells knit themselves over prefab forms like those of the heart for example. The stem cells then form heart tissue to cover the frame and, ta da, such hearts start beating. They are making all kinds of organs from scratch with stem cells.

On the other hand, starships, ray guns, anti gravity cars, etc. etc. are a long way off as the sources of energy for such energy intensive items have yet to be found. Scifi tends to overlook the energy issues.

Occasionally.

Arthur Clarke, for example, came up with:
geostationary communications satellite
and the space elevator

But in both cases it can be argued that there was prior work.
