But this is reduced by an amount of friction between the two blocks = μm1g.
Net force is (445 - μm1g.) which pulls both the masses together with an acceleration a
a = (445 - μm1g.) / (m1 +m2)

Acceleration is motion: m/s^2. If the crates move together, they have the same acceleration. The force is different since F=ma. The mass is different for each block, the acceleration is the same so the force on each must be different.
If you have total mass of 95+18=113kg and F =445N, => a = F/m=3.94m/s^2.
The force on the 18kg crate is F=ma = 18*3.94 = 70.88N
When the force on the smaller crate exceeds the force of static friction, the smaller crate will slide on the larger crate.
The force of static friction between the top crate and the bottom crate is
18*9.8*0.82=144.65N
So the acceleration of both crates would have to be 144.65/18 = 8.04m/s^2
That would require a force of 113*8.04 = 908.1N for the top crate to slide on the bottom crate.
