?? Assuming they are all on the outside then torque = I alpha =mr^2 alpha = 490 x 1.3^2 x 7 N.......
Suppose a parent gives the merry-go-round another good push. This push delivers an angular acceleration of 7rad/s^2. If the radius is still 1.3m, and the total mass with the kids is 490kg, how much torque does the parent deliver?

Depends where the kids are??? Assuming they are all on the outside then torque = I alpha =mr^2 alpha = 490 x 1.3^2 x 7 N.m
