I need help with these two questions on my homework about acceleration. I need to answer whether their true or false...

If an object has some acceleration, its apparent weight is equal to the actual weight of itself. True or false?

The force which causes an object's acceleration to the ground is dependent upon the mass of the object. True or False?

One the first one. I am not sure what you mean by apparent weight. Also, the question is sloppy as it depends on your frame of reference. For every day life scenarios and accelerations and speeds we are familiar with the answer to the question would be true, the object's weight remains the same.

Second one. True, the force acting on a falling object depends on its mass. Newtons law, F = ma.

With questions like this it is important to realize that mass and weight are two very different things.
