She then uses this information to make her first guess. Is your mom wearing a wedding ring? She's married. Is she a little out of shape/overweight/just not as fit as a young person? Most likely has children. Does she look too old for her parents to still be living? Is she dressed comfortably like a housewife or dressed up like a professional? Even details like her hairstyle and make up can hint to y'all's lifestyle.
Anyway, you can't judge 'paranormal' experiences off of dreams. Your dreams are just a compilation of your thoughts and emotions of the day. If you spend a lot of time worrying about your 'gift', then yes, chances are your going to have a 'paranormal dream'. On top of that, psychis will always say someone in the family has a gift. Obvoiously your mom doesn't have this 'gift', because she came to a psychic. But if she says something vague like her child does, she's hoping you'll be curious and come to find out more. More money in her pocket.
So, just forget about all this, and go spend your time on something better. It'll be more worth your time.
