I've had a couple ghost experiences. I had one a week or two ago when I woke up around 3:00 and saw a little girl staring at me, I made eye contact with her and she disappeared. Then again last night I was I came up from my basement and went to my dining room and then heard a child crying in my basement. I have had a few more but these are the most recent. What do I do? Is it me or my house that's haunted? Anyone else experience anything like this? Please help.

It is demonic activity, 3AM is the real 'witching hour' and is the most active hour for demons, it's height at 3:33AM.
What did the girl look like, did she have real eyes so that you could make out her pupils, or were they black? Ed and Lorraine Warren, father and mother of modern paranormal research, claims that demons cannot perfectly imitate the human form and if the eyes are blackened or the sockets are empty it was evidence that you were looking at a demon and not a human ghost. I read this in their biography called "The Demonologist" which you can find in the BIO section of a public library. I do not personally believe in ghosts, I personally believe what a lot of people think are ghosts are a type of demon called a familiar spirit, which attaches to people while they are alive then can retain their appearance and memories after that person dies.
As for whether or not your house is haunted, cases of a home being actively haunted are rare, there's no free lunch for demons in an empty home, they feed off of all negative human emotions, especially fear, hate and lust. An empty house offers them no food. If for some reason a demon is attached to a property, it will lay dormant while it is unoccupied, but once a person feels haunted, that demon is attached to and feeding off of that person.
demons get you to fear to feed off of you, it's like a trickle down effect because most demons are not very powerful, they use what little power they have to make minor manifestations to scare you, then draw that power into themselves, and it snowballs to the point of serious oppression and finally full possession.
