What weighs more a ton of feathers or a tonne of bricks

A tonne of anything weighs more than a ton of anything, this is why:

1 tonne = 1 metric ton = 2,204.62lbs
1 ton = 2000 lbs

A tonne = 1000 kg = 2200 pounds
A ton depends on the type of weight you are looking at. In many places, it's 20 hundredweights, which is 20 * 112 pounds = 2240 pounds
But in some places, a ton is regarded as 2000 pounds.

A "tonne" of bricks, also known as a "metric ton" (1,000kg roughly 2,205lbs) weighs more than a "ton" of feathers (us 2,000lbs).
