you can also boil it in butter, sift out the herbs(if you must) and use it in a baking recipe
it's a different kind of high, but it's good all the same, and a hell of alot better than burning your lungs (which you use to breathe, and trust me, from a future medical professional, breathing is good.)

Your deception and guilt will shine like a beacon. Your doctor is a skilled observer. He (or she) has seen thousands of potheads and knows what you guys look like, smell like, how you talk, etc.
You will no more fool him than you will spontaneously sprout feathers.
However, he is bound by doctor/patient privilege and will not report you to police. He might tell your mom, who, by the way, also already knows.
You are a disappointment to her.

Whether your doctor can tell about your marijuana use depends on whether you're a know-it-all kid with an IQ smaller than your shoe size, or whether you actually have more sense than a cockroach. If the former, he may not know; if the latter, you'll tell him.

Quick answer is yes, they will know you've been smoking, but there's no way to tell if you've been smoking weed unless they take urine or blood samples.
