If 5*6=42 ,2*8=27,4*9=50,what is 7*0 (reasoning question)

Answer is 8 but How?

Think of it like this....add 1 to each number then multiply

5*6 becomes 6*7=42
2*8 becomes 3*9=27
4*9 becomes 5 *10=50

So 7*0 becomes 8*1=8

The reasoning is each number to the left of the = sign is one number less than they need to be to make the equality correct:

5*6=42 is wrong, but ((5+1)*(6+1) or 6*7=42 is correct.

2*8=27 is wrong, but((2+1)*(8+1)) or 3*9=27 is correct.

4*9=50 is wrong, but ((4+1)*(9+1)) or 5*10=50 is correct.

Thus:

(7*0) is really ((7+1)*(0+1)) or (8*1) which equals 8.

Notice: (5+1)*(6+1) = 6*7 = 42 ; (2+1)*(8+1) = 3*9 = 27 ; (4+1)*(9+1) = 5*10 = 50
Thus, (7+1)*(0+1) = 8*1 = 8 is the answer :)
(7*0 = 8)
