Well with that you would think of Christ's birth as zero and that was 240 years before so it would simply be -240. Always start at zero and numbers count the same in both directions except that any numbers preceding 0 would be negative (the bigger the number in the negative digits will be a smaller number, not that it's really relative to this question)
