To simplify the equation

f(x)=1/4(x+2)(x+1)^2
First square the x+1, use FOIL
f(x)=1/4(x+2)(x^2-2x+1)
Now distribute the x+2 to the x^2-2x+1
f(x)=1/4(x^3-2x^2+x+2x^2-4x+2)
f(x)=1/4(x^3-3x+2)
Now distribute the 1/4
f(x)=1/4x^3-3/4x+1/2

Hope this helps

ı dıdnt understand what you want me to fınd and what ıs ^
ıf you want to fınd f(1) destroy the x's and put 1 to theır places
for example f(x)= 5x+4 f(1)=5.1+4 so ıt ıs f(1) = 9 do the same for the number you need
ıs that what you ask?
