The problems ask me to simplify the expressions but they're using natural log and I don't understand how to simplify it that way. It's question number 16 and 17. Below is a picture of the problems and the last link is a picture of logarithmic rules that I'm supposed to follow.

ln(x^2(4-x^2)^(1/2))
= ln(x^2) + ln(4-x^2)^(1/2))
= 2ln(x) + (1/2)* ln(4-x^2)
= 2 ln(x)+ (1/2)*(ln(2 - x) + ln(2+x))
For a division, use "-" instead of "+", but it goes much the same way.
