Predict the outcome if polymerase was not available for the cell during the DNA replication process. What if helicase wasn't there either?

How many hydrogen bonds are between Adenine and Thymine? What about Cytosine and Guanine?
10 points for the best answer, I was out sick the few days my class covered this and my teacher has pretty much been absolutely no help, so thank you so much in advance! xxx

1.) DNA replication wouldn't occur because no helicase is present to open the template strand to allow DNA Polymerase to synthesize new nucleotides from the template strand to a complementary strand.
2.) Cytosine and Guanine have 3 hydrogen bonds. Adenine and Thymine have 2 hydrogen bonds.
