it's my first year taking trig. and we just started with this topic and i don't this problem. i've already completed 3 of these problems but this one i had to skip
a closed cylinder has a base diameter of 14cm and a vertical height of 20cm. take pie to be 22/7
calculate
the area in cm square of the base
the volume in cm to the 3rd power of the cylinder
show the total surface area is 1188 cm square

-
the area in cm square of the base => A = πr^2 = 22/7 *7^2 = 154 cm^2
the volume in cm to the 3rd power of the cylinder => V = πr^2*h = 154 cm^2*20 cm = 3080 cm^3
show the total surface area is 1188 cm square => A = 2*πr^2 + 2πrh = 2*154 + 2* 22/7 *7*20 = 1188cm^2
the volume in cm to the 3rd power of the cylinder => V = πr^2*h = 154 cm^2*20 cm = 3080 cm^3
show the total surface area is 1188 cm square => A = 2*πr^2 + 2πrh = 2*154 + 2* 22/7 *7*20 = 1188cm^2
