I want to comprehend every aspect of Mathematics, rather than ignoring it. I need to understand why I do quite well in reading, writing, and music, but fail tremendously in math. I appreciate anyone whom is willing to help me grasp this concept of mine.

it usually takes me a lot of practice to understand and be able to help someone else in it.
if i can i try to learn a little bit ahead of time through youtube or various websites so im not just copying the board during class.
but really it all comes down to practice.
My last professor said "im not that smart, anyone can do this it just takes practice."
but im sure shes pretty smart if she has her masters in math. haha

You need to be very patient to do Math and it takes lots of practice.
