Ok, I have a mymaths homework due tomorrow about completing the square, which I usually understand, but this sheet of homework has thrown all previous knowledge out of the window. I also have to go out soon and if this isn't finished, then my life will be over as of tomorrow. So, if anyone could help me complete these equations, I would owe you my life:
x^2+12-6=0
x^2-14x+3=0
x^2-7x=8
4x^2+16x-32=0
6x^2-60x+30=0
2x^2+14x=-1
Please help me and my brain that is seemingly incapable of solving maths' problems.

Remember the procedure. Take half of the x - coefficient and square it and add both sides.

For example second one : x^2 - 14x + 3 = 0

here x coefficient is 14. Half of 14 is 7. Square of 7 is 49. add 49 both sides

=> x^2 - 14x = -3
x^2 - 14x + 49 = 46
=> (x - 7)^2 = 46
=> x - 7 = ± √46
x = 7 ± √46

Now you can finish your home work on your own.

If x^2 coefficient is other than 1, divide throughout by the coefficient.
For example last one : 2x^2 + 14x + 1 = 0 ==> x^2 + 7x = -1/2. Now follow the same method.

There is a general formula to solve quadratic equations :since the equation:ax^2+bx+c
therefore:X=(-b + or - 4ac)/2a

I hope u can understand it :)
