Ever since I was little I was very bad with numbers and really good with letters. I was the first one in my class to get the abc's right, all the words on the spelling test, etc. But I was the last one who could count by 5's, 10's, 2's, stuff like that. and I'm in 7th grade, and we're moving on to like.. y=7x -2 =
Stuff like that. But I still don't know how to divide or carry..I know that sounds bad but nobody really taught me well and they kind of expected me to know it. I feel so stupid when I ask for help or I just sit there and can't do it and get 0's on homeworks. If it weren't for my friends I would have a definite F in math.

Hm. Some say that if you're good in English, you're pretty bad at Math and the other way around. But it's not fully true, some people just tend to be better than the other but some are good at both!
Actually, practicing is just the key and you should be able to understand the 'process' of 'how to do or solve' mathematical problems.
So.. you have friends right? Why don't you ask them to 'teach' you, make sure to say that you want them to take it seriously? I mean, if you don't like to have a tutor at home or at school, you can ask for your friends or your parents or even your teachers. Being shy here is not an option if you're really desperate. And don't feel stupid, almost everybody have experienced it too. I have.
Some things that I do to enhance my skills in Math is that I apply them in my everyday life. Like mentally solving changes when I bought something, trying to look for patterns in car plates and many others. You can also answer Sudoku and there are lots of games and tutorial here in the internet that could help you in Math.
Just remember to keep practicing and answering lots of simple Math problems then work your way through the harder ones!
