I'm taking two classes this summer. If I make A's in both classes can that bump me up to a 3.5? Both of the classes that I'm taking this summer are 3 credit hours each. So far I have 35 credit hours. My school is on a 4 gpa scale. If that helps.

If you make an A in both classes, your GPA would be a 3.342
Multiply your GPA by the number of hours you have. That will tell you how many points you have. So you have 133.015 points. Then you add the number of points you would get if you made an A in both classes this summer.
# hours x (grade in class)
A - 4
B - 3
C - 2
D - 1
F - 0
So 6 * 4 = 24 would be the number of points that you would earn during the summer. Then you add the total number of points you have and divide it by the new total hours that you have. So
137.015 / 41 = 3.342
You're doing excellent by the way! Keep up the good work! :)
