Quick math question. Translating words to math equation

Translate the following into a mathematical expression. “The product of 9 and the sum of a number and 5.”
Translate the following into an equation. “The sum of 5 and the product of 15 and a number is 43.”

I want to double check what I got because I keep second guessing myself.

5 + 15x = 43

1. 9(5 + a) a is just a variable, could be x, y, z, w, anything
2. 43 = 15a + 5
