r= (t/.1999)^(2/3)-t=0.199r^1.5[divide both sides by 0.t/0.199 = r^1.......
Formula is T=0.199R^1.5
I know what T is, I want to find out what R is. How would i reverse the formula so it shows what R is equal to?

hi!
i wasn't going to answer this problem but then i realized that the two answers are the different
so im here to tell you that the second one by blue moon is correct

to do this divide both sides of the equation by 0.199
t/0.199=R^1.5

notice how r is to the exponent of 1.5
this is equal to 3/2

to change the exponent of r to 1 multiply both sides of the equation by the reciprocal of 3/2 which is 2/3

you get
r= (t/.1999)^(2/3)

-
t=0.199r^1.5 [divide both sides by 0.199]
t/0.199 = r^1.5 [raise both sides to the reciprocal of r's exponent, so exponeniate both sides by 2/3]
r = (t/0.199)^(2/3)

-
T/0.199=R^15

T/0.199 square rooted = R
