I'm review calculus for the upcoming semester and i dont know why i can't solve this limit =S
Find the limit:
lim x-> -2
(x+2)/(x^3 + 8)
Find the limit:
lim x-> -2
(x+2)/(x^3 + 8)
-
x^3 + 8 = (x + 2)(x^2 - 2x + 4)
Does this help?

if you plug in -2 for all of the x's you will get a num of 0 which means that that limit=0 or as approaches -2 the function goes to zero. You can also graph the function to see if this is true.
