alien invasion or one of the crew members going insane and trying to kill the rest if the crew?

And just what weapons are you thinking they should carry?
Revolvers? So the hypothetical insane crew member *can* try to kill the rest? Or so a tiny space station could defend the billions of earth from aliens with the technology to cross dozens or even hundreds of light years, dodging or smashing through micro-meteorites travelling thousands, tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of miles every *second*?
Or perhaps tear gas? because they would be such a good idea to use out in space, right?
Or lasers? The 'super-lasers' that we haven't every managed to build yet - and would require enough energy to power a city for a year - just for a single 'shot'?
Or...
or exactly what sort of weapon were *you* thinking should be there?

No. That would violate the terms of the 45 year old UN outer space treaty.

Obviously NO they do NOT have weapons on the space station.
-
Since there is no signs of an impending alien invasion, so I would say no. No point.

You do know HAL doesn't run the ISS right?

No
