If sin θ = -1/5 and 270°≤ θ ≤ 360°, the cot θ =? I tried using cos^2θ +sin^2θ= 1, but it didn't work and I didn't use the range of degrees part at all, so I'm confused about how to go about this.

csc(t)^2 - cot(t)^2 = 1
csc(t) = 1 / sin(t)
(-5)^2 - cot(t)^2 = 1
25 - cot(t)^2 = 1
24 = cot(t)^2
cot(t) = +/- 2 * sqrt(6)
We're in Q4, so cot(t) is negative
cot(t) = -2 * sqrt(6)
csc(t) = 1 / sin(t)
