I need help on a homework question...I need to write the transformed equation for y = 7ƒ(-1/6(x-1)) + 1,
ƒ(x) = x^2
Could someone help me or explain how it's done for this function??
Thank you))

ƒ(x) = x^2

7f(x) = 7(x^2)

7ƒ(-1/6(x-1)) = 7( (-1/6(x-1))^2 )

7ƒ(-1/6(x-1)) + 1 = 7( (-1/6(x-1))^2 ) + 1

y = 7( (-1/6(x-1))^2 ) + 1

y = [ (-7/6)(x-1)^2 ] + 1
