in other words, will the d variable be isolated or will the A variable be isolated? Because im pretty sure that they arent classified as independent or dependent variables in the context of this problem. they could be either. thanks!-Function is always on left hand side and written as a single variable with power 1,......
so i have to write a quadratic function and it says "...write 3 quadratic models - one for each type of spin - that give the distance d as a function of the angle A."

so does that mean that the equations will look like: d = __A^2+__A+__
or A = ___d^2+__d+___?

in other words, will the d variable be isolated or will the A variable be isolated? Because im pretty sure that they aren't classified as independent or dependent variables in the context of this problem. they could be either. thanks!

Function is always on left hand side and written as a single variable with power 1, variable is written on right hand side of functional equation. Hence "d = __A^2+__A+__" is correct.
