The problem says: ln crt( e^2x)
crt means cube root.

Can you please explain it thoroughly, I don't even know where to begin :P

You need to remember that "cube root" is the same as "to the power ⅓"
So ln ∛ (e^2x)
= ln (2^2x)^⅓
= ln (2^(2x*⅓))
Now you can bring the power down beside the ln
= ⅔x ln 2
= 0.462... x
