Simplify each side separately and hence determine the solution.

(x-2)/(x-4)- (x-4)/(x-6)= (x-1)/(x-3)- (x-3)/(x-5)

======================================…
-4/((х-4)*(х-6)) = -4/((х-3)*(х-5))

So, what's next? How do we get rid of negatives fours in the numerators?

Assuming your simplification is correct, then the denominators must be equal:
(х-4)*(х-6) = (х-3)*(х-5)
Therefore; x^2 -10x + 24 = x^2 – 8x + 15
Therefore: 9 = 2x
x = 4.5
