Alright my question is
P(t)= 6t^4-5t^3+200t+1200
P is population, and T is time.
I need to find out when the population is going to be 175,000 but I cant find any factors for it since its a positive exponent and I need 3-4 zeros. Please show work if you can..
Thank you!!

nyc is correct
There is no easy way to solve this ... I used my TI-calculator and graphed it. It has 2 real solutions with one negative (-12.98) and one positive (13.21). The other two solutions must be imaginary.
You might have learned the Intermediate Value Theorem in your studies and you can apply that to this problem to find the zeros. I'll leave it for you to research.
The positive solution is a fraction 118661/8983
Good luck with your studies
