What is the domain for the following equation

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-10-30] [Hit: ]
. the denominator will be 0.... fraction cannot have 0 as a denominator.......
f(x) = √(x/(π-x)) i.e is the square root of x over pi - x

-
X is an element of the Real numbers but x cannot be greater than or equal to pi nor can it be less than 0
Reason
if it is equal to pi.. the denominator will be 0.... fraction cannot have 0 as a denominator...or else it will be infinity

if it is greater than pi, the denominator will be negative and the numerator will be positive... you cannot have the square root of a negative number

if x is less than 0 the numerator will be negative and the denominator will be positive... again, you cannot have the square root of a negative number

ANSWER?
so that means that the DOMAIN is 0<=x or [0,pi)

Notice that we have two limitations 1)The equation is inside a square root meaning the number inside the root cannot be negative 2) The denominator cannot equal zero, therefore pi cannot be a solution .

So, the domain is: [0,pi) The solution includes numbers from 0 to pi, but not including pi.

x cannot equal pi or zero, i believe. and x<0
