i think its 1, my friend thinks it's 9.
so whats the answer ?

it is 9
first you perform the parenthetical equation (1+2)
6÷2(3)
then the 6/2 because there is no parenthesis around 2(1+2)
3(3)
lastly you multiply by 3
9

I thought you solved brackets first like 6 /6 =1 ,but I asked an almost identical question and everyone else thinks you should solve it left to right even with brackets this is my question

you think right the answer is 1

6÷2(1+2)
=6÷2(3)
=6÷6
=1

6/2(3)

= 18 / 2

= 9

You're right, it's 9. :)
