0.25 + x = 0.455
how do I get rid of decimals, what do i multiply by and why
0.25x + 3/4 + 5/12x = 0.3882
how would i get rid of fractions and decimals
do i multiply by lcm or something what is it btw

bud if its a decimal or a fraction there is nothing u can do about it you can change it to a decimal from a fraction and vies versa but thats it
-
to change it from a fraction to a decimal you divide the top number ny the bottom, for example 1/3
1 divided by 3 =0.333333333333...repeating i dont know how to change it to a fraction though.
so basically how you solve that is
0.25 + x=0.455
0.25 -0.25 +x = 0.455-0.25
the 0.25 cancel out so its x=0.205
so the other one in all decimals would be
0.25x + 0.75 (3 divided by 4)+ 0.416666666x with the 6 repeateing so round it to whatever place the teacher says (5 divided by 12) =0.3882
so try to solve it from this form. good luck :]
