It is simple but confusing there is a lot of trail and error that and I have tried for awhile. So here it is Amber was given 100 dollars and told to spend it purchasing exactly 100 animals at the pet store Dogs cost 15$. Cats cost 1$, and mice are 25 cents each. Amber was told she must buy at least one of each the three animals. So Amber spent exactly $100, bought exactly 100 animals, and she bought at least one of each animal. How much of each animal did she buy?

6 dogs
9 cats
4 mice
6 dogs x 15= $90
9 cats x 1= $9
4 mice x 0.25= $1
90+9+1=$100
