What is (a+b)2= ????

a= -2
b= -4

-12

(-2)+(-4)=(-6)
(-6)2= (-12)

As above unless it's a little 2 after the brackets as in 'squared' and then the answer is 36 (+ / not a negative)

-2 + -4 = -6 x 2 = -12
