Can someone please show me the steps on integrating this?

intg x^2+1/x dx

intg x^2/x dx + intg 1/x dx

intg x dx + ln x +C

x^2 /2 + ln|x| + C

it would become

x^2 /x + 1/x

= x + 1/x

= x + x^-1

integrate it: x^2/2 + x^-1
