I was thinking about taking cal 3 and physics 2 together during the summer, but if linear algebra isnt too hard, i might just hold physics off til fall semester

I took linear alg in first term of university and I just completed calc 3 a week ago. Your success in lin alg depends heavily on your ability to grasp abstract concepts or enough repetition of questions such that even if you don't understand the question you can mechanically find the answer. I found calc 3 to be easier to be honest, primarily because linear algebra was a nightmare until about 3 days before my exam at which point everything seemed to fall into place and make sense.
So which is easier? I took linear algebra as one of my first courses in university, so it's easily doable. If you're willing to sit and think about matrices and their correlations for a couple days it'll be easy enough. Calc 3 requires work and practice, and lots of it. Linear alg was like a thought experiment.
(equal fail rates in my class for both subjects)

Calculus 3.
In linear algebra, there's only 2-D functions, and problems
However in Calculus (despite what level), there's limits, logarithems, etc.
