From what I hear, the show is mainly about guys and girls having meaningless sex on an everyday basis.Should we blame television itself or parents for letting kids watch?

You just summarized the entire show in a couple words. That's all it is- mindless entertainment. I can almost hear my friend's brain cells pop as she watches it... what a horrible death. What is there to learn from it? How to punch someone so hard it knocks out their teeth? Watching Snooki and Deena have a lesbian makeout session? This is why I don't watch TV.

I don't believe that disgusting shows like Jersey Shore are MAKING people stupid...I think it's just a prime example of how stupid we've actually become as a society. I can't fathom how people are actually interested in watching 'roided-up idiots and skanks getting drunk and starting fights. We're making these scum of society millionaires by tuning in, it's so sad xD
