Where are flightless birds found

Most flightless birds are found on small
islands. New Zealand has the largest number
of flightless birds, from kiwis and penguins, to
the now extinct moa. This country is also
home to the kakapo – the world’s
only flightless parrot.

You could probably find a flightless bird on every continent: penguins in Antarctica, ostriches in Africa, turkeys in North America, chickens basically everywhere. Those are the most well known flightless birds.
