Sorry if its long, but you just need all the information you can get with a question like this...
There is this girl in my language arts class that is simply the most amazing thing I have ever seen. She is beautiful, caring, funny, intelligent. The thing is I am very shy. So shy I have no friends. I really am a good person its just that I never talk.
Sorry if this part is confusing...I sit on the left side of the class in the very back row on the right side of the desks next to the middle passage. She sits on the right side of the class on the left end in the second row next to the middle passage. So I have a Pretty good vantage point when I look at her.
I sometimes find myself staring at her and she'll turn her head around and I THINK she sees me looking. If I look away quickly, she'll keep looking for about 3 or 4 seconds. If I do hold the stare she'll in a way calmly, yet quickly look away. Not that many people actually turn their heads to the back of the class so I'm guessing thats a good sign. But then again she could be looking at something else.
Again, I'm sorry if its too descriptive but you need all the information you can get. Whenever school ends I walk a certain distance and wait for my ride to show up. There is a road crossing and to the right of that starts a hill. I wait on the hill. The road crossing is flat ground. I see her walking across the street and she'll look my way for a few seconds. She'll look about 3 times. Each look about 2 seconds long. The same looking away/staring rules that i mentioned above apply. Again, not everyone looks up the hill as everyone already knows what is up there.
Now is where I need the MOST HELP IN THIS SECTION. I'm afraid I screwed HORRIBLY. I had to do a small presentation in our language arts class. Which is the only class we have together. Everyone elses speech was short, and me being a smart person, the speech was rather long. I didn't rehearse at all. Infact, I wrote my speech while other people were giving theirs (I know its rude but I didn't want to improvise). So when it was my turn (right when I put my pencil down) I stood up and gave my speech. The speech was given from my desk so keep in mind the seating arrangement that I described. First of all, I was very nervous given I am already a shy person. My voice is deep, but for some reason, it shook alot. Almost in a quivering manner. Secondly, I was glued to my note cards (I didn't exactly memorize it because I wrote it in class). To be honest, I kind of looked like a turtle with my head bent down not looking up at the class. The few times I did look up, I saw her looking at my eyes and she was giggling. I don't know if it was to make me feel better (I hope), if she was laughing at how ridiculous I was (which I really doubt), or she was laughing at something she heard. A FEW people clapped at the end, which wasn't the case with the other speeches.
