Look dude.... I will honestly give you my opinion.

Do you think staring at each other is going to make her go up to and say, hey how about we hangout this friday..?

No. I'm sorry, in order for her to gauge any reactions/sexual/romantic desire in you, THERE has to be communication, humor, or any typical teenage school romance occurring...

You have self esteem or insecurity problems, or you're just very quiet/shy, and that isn't a turn off to girls. It is just something you realize has to be just worked or fixed upon.

STARING DOESN'T INDICATE she likes you. I seriously feel inside my gut and shake my head when people say, if she stares at you alot.. If there is NO connection, or no mutual connection (like per say she stares at you for 3 seconds, and you stare back, and she turns away, then yes that is mutual connection). I see none here expect a few occasions....

My steps?

1) Be confident. A simple hi to her will surprise her or even show her any attention.

2) If you see her staring at you on the hill, wave at her.

3) As for the presentation, I really don't think she was being mean. If she was being mean, she would either tell a friend, or look at you as if you grew another head. She might've thought you looked funny, or maybe laughed at you, but she didn't mean to hurt your feelings, and might've taken your shyness as very cute.

The rules are simple. You have to initiate it. Some girls are shy too no matter how outgoing...

Just go up to her, and say hi. Or if you both look at each other, smile at her, and if she looks away, or smiles back, she may have some feelings for you.
