ok so u know how on national geographic u see stuff like sending probes to Europa i was wondering what engineering field is that? i was thinking aerospace but im not sure

Any large project like sending probes to Europa is worked on by hundreds of people from many different specialties. Aerospace engineers are involved in the design of the launch vehicles but have almost nothing to do with the mission itself.
