Im a senior in high school. That is what i want to do. I have applied to colleges like Purdue, University of Tennessee, Auburn University, and University of Michigen. I got into Uni of Tennessse and Auburn. I live in TN btw, so in state tuition is good for this college. All of them have this major so thats what i want to go in. Anyone an aerospace engineer that can give me some tips and experience suggestions?

I work in aerospace and it is an excellent industry. Its almost a sort of playground for engineers as you can do a lot of interesting engineering related jobs at an aerospace company. There is also the opportunity of travel around to different companies and make a lot of money working as a contractor. I would however suggest that you don't major in aerospace engineering but rather mechanical or a good manufacturing engineering program. Aerospace can be too narrow while mechanical is very broad and manufacturing will give you a lot of very useful skills. The aerospace however will pigeon hole you in some respects and any aerospace job can be held by a regular mechanical engineer.

Well, I am also a senior, and I applied to Purdue, and got in. I am currently doing the Real World Design Challenge, and this deals with a lot of aerospace engineering. I have toured Purdue, and they have their own airport and everything. I would do some more research on what AeroE actually entails, but I love it so far, and I cant wait for Purdue.
Good Luck!

UT is a good choice because you can go on to UT Space Institute for your masters and higher. Excellent pathway to aerospace industry.
