I have a C R L circuit and need to work out the value of the capacitor.
I have Xc , the current of the circuit, the voltage across the capacitor, and the voltage supply is 100hz.
I assume to work out C i need to re-arrange the following equation
----- ____1______
Xc = 2 x Pi x F x C
So, i would need to times the whole equation by 2 pi f c to get
Xc x 2 x Pi x F x C = 1
Then i would divide by Xc x 2 x pi x F to get C on its own...
So it would be
_______1____
Xc x 2 x pi x f
Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks :)

Correct
C= 1/(2 x pi x f x Xc)
C= 1/(2 x pi x f x Xc)
