Can we throw our non biodegradable trash in active volcanoes in order to save earth from pollution?

busterwasmycat say: moving it around does not get rid of it. And if you are going to burn/melt it, why not do it in a more convenient location where you can capture the nasty off-gases before they get into the air?
Basically, tossing stuff into a volcano is roughly a slightly better answer than tossing it into a hole in the ground. You are still tossing it somewhere.

Zardoz say: The problem is getting it there safely.

gertrude say: No, if something is non-biodegradable then it is made of plastics from crude oil etc and burning such materials will release harmful gases. This will increase pollution. Furthermore how would you get close enough to the mouth of an active volcano without dying? The only way is to reduce any use of pollutants e.g. use sustainable energy sources

Mj say: We have to get it out of the ocean first.

Pablo say: The burning of this trash inside the volcano will pollute the earth anyway.
-
Michaela say: It would help the earth in many different ways.
