To add another level of mystery to the legend, just take the underwater terrain.-Yes, its a real place.Yes, strange things have happened there,......
2: Crazy weather patterns
The tropical skies over the Bermuda Triangle are prone to intense, severe storms as warm and cold air masses collide over the ocean. Seriously, it IS kind of smack in the middle of hurricane alley. Add to that the swift-moving Gulf Stream that cuts right through the Triangle, and you've got some very difficult territory for both ships and planes. To add another level of mystery to the legend, just take the underwater terrain.

Yes, it's a real place. Yes, strange things have happened there, which have caused ships, planes, and other guided craft to seemingly disappear without any explanation. However, strange things happen all over the world, and the Bermuda Triangle became a source of myth and legend during the 16th and 17th centuries, when most of the people who knew anything about it were uneducated sailors. Humans like to find reasons for things, and during that time, things that could not be explained were usually attributed to supernatural or extra-terrestrial phenomena. These sailing men couldn't explain things away with science and logic, because they knew nothing about science and logic. Unscrupulous people usually take advantage of other people's fears, and the unscrupulous people common in the region were usually pirates. They had good reasons to make people fear the unknown, so they happily spread the rumors and then used others' misfortune to their gain.
So yes, weird stuff happens, but not just there.

The Bermuda Triangle is an area of the Atlantic Ocean South East of Florida.
Strange stories come for incidents in that area.
Most of them are just a HOAX.
